GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Introduction

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) set out the legal terms that apply to your use of the JL Beauty website (www.jlbeauty.nl), and to any purchase made through this site between JL Beauty and the customer (referred to as "you" or "your"). Please read these GTC carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept and agree to these GTC.

JL Beauty may revise or update the GTC at any time. Continued use of the website after changes implies acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you must immediately stop using the site.

Article 1 – Acceptance of the Terms

By using the website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these GTC without limitation or qualification. The version valid at the time of ordering will apply.

Article 2 – Order Placement

You declare that you are legally entitled to place an order. All orders are subject to acceptance by JL Beauty. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our sole discretion, without liability.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This is not an acceptance of your order. Your order is only accepted once payment has been received in full and product availability is confirmed.

Article 3 – Pricing

All prices are in Euros (EUR), including VAT, but excluding shipping costs. JL Beauty reserves the right to update prices at any time. If a pricing error occurs, you will be contacted. If the actual price is lower, your order will continue as normal. If it is higher, you will have the option to confirm or cancel.

Article 4 – Delivery

Delivery times indicated on the website are estimates and start once full payment has been received. Products are delivered to the address you provide. You are responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address. JL Beauty is not responsible for delays due to incorrect information.

Article 5 – Payment

Payments can be made via iDEAL or credit card. Orders are only shipped after successful payment. Products remain the property of JL Beauty until full payment has been received.

Article 6 – Returns and Exchanges

You have the right to return items within 14 days of delivery.
To initiate a return, contact JL Beauty at info@jlbeauty.nl with your order number and delivery date.

Returns procedure:

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in original condition

  • Items must be returned in original or equivalent packaging

  • Damaged or used products cannot be refunded or exchanged

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility

Refunds will be processed after receiving and inspecting the return. If a promotional gift was included, it must be returned as well or its value will be deducted from the refund.

If your parcel is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact your local postal service. JL Beauty is not responsible for undelivered packages if tracking confirms delivery.

Article 7 – Liability

Risk transfers to the customer upon receipt of the order. JL Beauty is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, including lost profits or misuse of the website or products. JL Beauty is not responsible for product compliance with local laws outside the Netherlands.

Article 8 – Privacy and Cookies

8.1 Personal Data

JL Beauty processes your personal data for the purpose of fulfilling orders, fraud prevention, and marketing (if consented). Data is only shared with third parties involved in operations (e.g., delivery, payment processing). You have the right to access or correct your data at any time by contacting us.

8.2 Cookies

Cookies are used to enhance website functionality and performance. They do not collect personal data. You can disable cookies via your browser settings, but this may affect your user experience.

Article 9 – Complaints

Complaints can be submitted via:

    We ask that you check your order immediately upon receipt. Claims for damage or incorrect items must be submitted within 24 hours. Returns must follow the procedure in Article 6 and be made within 7 days of the complaint.

Article 10 – Applicable Law

The agreement between JL Beauty and the customer is governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be handled by the competent Dutch court.

Article 11 – Severability

If any clause of these GTC is deemed invalid, the remainder will remain in effect.
